Join us for a relaxed chat about all things Menopause. It’s an informal discussion group. We don’t set agendas – discussion topics emerge and are shaped by participants. It’s not a workshop or an information event. It’s not therapy. It’s simply a space to be yourself and to share your journey with others. By talking about experiences with others, and by hearing other people’s stories, we learn that we are not going through this alone! You’ll meet your volunteer hosts Fiona, Paula and Rachel who are all on their menopause journeys too. Importantly, know that you are welcome, and we are looking forward to meeting you.
We’re part of the national Menopause Café network — holding space for honest and supportive, conversations around menopause.
• Open to everyone. The menopause impacts everyone, and all are welcome at a Café. This includes all ages and genders.
• Impartial to the way ahead. Everyone’s menopause is a unique journey, so our Café is a supportive, confidentialspace to help people to learn, to make sense of their own journey or to consider options.
• There is no intention of leading participants to any conclusion, product or course of action.
• It is as an open, respectful and confidential space where people can express their views safely and everyone is welcome.
• Not for profit. Cafes are not about selling things, they are about participants supporting each other. We don’t charge people to come and have a chat.
There will be drinks and cake on offer. Special thanks to Kelly for hosting us at the Sour Cow.
