Menopause Festival 2019 26-27 April 2019, Perth Theatre
In 2018 Horsecross hosted the world’s first Menopause Festival. This year we build on the growing work of the Menopause Cafe movement, to bring you a bigger festival, aiming to increase awareness of the impact of the menopause on those experiencing it, their friends, colleagues and families, so that we can make conscious choices about this third stage of life.
Highlights include Elaine Miller’s comedy show Gusset Grippers, menopause in the workplace seminar, Menopause Marketplace, creative arts workshops, Dr Laura’s Q &A, Menopause Café.
Who’s it for? Anybody interested in sharing their stories, experiences and questions about menopause. All genders and all ages. Men and women and inbetween. Old and young and inbetween.
Let’s break the taboo around talking menopause and have some fun together as we start conversations and build community.
